Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- Account data: name, email, organisation, hashed password (via Clerk).
- Content data: product images, scripts, generated videos, brand assets you upload.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, render history, error logs.
- Payment data: handled by Paytree on a hosted checkout page; we receive the payment status and reference only — never your card number.
2. How we use it
To provide and improve the Service, communicate about your account, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
3. Third parties
We share strictly necessary data with sub-processors: Clerk (auth), Neon (Postgres), AWS S3 / Lambda / SQS (media storage, rendering, job queue), Vercel (hosting), Paytree (payments, on a hosted checkout), Topview (upstream AI video vendor), Anthropic (script and caption text), ElevenLabs and Microsoft (voice synthesis and speech recognition for captions), Replicate (legacy avatar rendering), Resend (transactional email), PostHog (product analytics), Sentry (error diagnostics), and Tawk.to (support chat). Each operates under an appropriate data-processing agreement. Business customers who need our full sub-processor list under contract can find it in our Data Processing Agreement.
4. Data retention
Rendered videos are kept until you delete them. Account data persists until you delete your account or for up to 30 days afterwards (whichever is later).
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data. Email privacy@ugcabc.com; we respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
See our Cookies notice. We use cookies for auth, basic analytics, and feature flagging only — no third-party advertising.
7. Children
The Service isn't directed at people under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
